Our Story
We are Rachel and Leon, two London-based Product Managers working in tech. During the pandemic, we found ourselves missing the warmth and companionship of dogs, which had been a constant in our lives growing up.

What began as a way to reconnect with pets quickly turned into something more meaningful. The dogs we started to care for added so much colour and joy to our lives. The bond we formed with them inspired us to share this experience with others.

So we launched Augie Pet Sitting, a premium dog-sitting service designed to give every dog the best experience possible, and to bring peace of mind to pet owners.

Our goal is to ensure that every dog is treated with the same love, care, and attention they would receive at home. And you, as the owner, can have complete peace of mind during your time away.
About Rachel
Hello! My name is Rachel and I have lived in London for 10 years building apps for tech companies as a Product Manager. During that time, I started dog sitting with my partner Leon and fell in love with it.
We quickly got over-booked and wanted to make sure the pets we can't keep are still getting the best care possible.

I grew up with two German Shepherds and one Labrador who were my best friends. Dogs continue to be a huge part of my life and make every day feel more meaningful.​​
About Leon
My name is Leon and I am a Product Manager based in London. I grew up with a Yorkshire Terrier called Bigu and a French Bulldog called Baki.
​
While working from home in tech, I started to miss the companionship of my pets and caring for them. ​Together with Rachel, we started to look after pets on the side, and got 30+ 5-star reviews on Rover.​​
​
I enjoy welcoming every pet with love, care and excitement, so that they feel like they are visiting their second home for each and every stay.
